For anyone curious/worried, the free version is not a ‘lite’ or ‘trial’ version, the only difference between the 2 is the ‘About’ screen. AndChat will always be free but a contribution is always appreciated.
I’ve been meaning to write this for a long time, but wasn’t really bothered 
Firstly, I passed my first year exams, but the results of still preliminary, they have to be confirmed by the uni board. Hopefully, the results’ll stay the same, or lean in my favor. I managed a borderline pass, passing 6/8 modules, the minimum required amount for a pass 
I was really worried about my results, I hardly did any revision. I got an A in Web Tech (web programming lol), but the rest I got between B and E
Secondly, I *finally* got a new PC 
. The old one (a P4 Prescott 
) was annoying the hell out of me with the constant problems it gave me. Once I’d fixed a problem with it, a new one would pop up. The last straw for me was when it decided it didn’t wanna work with my new power supply, I went onto OCuK, and ordered some new parts 
Specs:
A total of £550 (out of my saving up to buy a car fund ).
This isn’t exactly a top spec machine, but it’ll do for me It’s also sooooo much more quieter then the old pc, even during stress testing, it hardly makes any noise.
But I almost screwed it up when building it, I didn’t realize the heatsink pin for the Northbridge chip had come loose, and it kept crashing when doing stress testing. I was almost ready to RMA the bits when I noticed. Luckily, I found the pieces for the heatsink and managed to fix it again. (whoo, go me)
So after watching a few eps on Sky, I started enjoying it. Today, when I went to West End, I picked up the Season 1 DVD Boxset ( 
, Yes I do still buy films and stuff I like, even though I have a unlimited account newsgroup account 
). I’ve watched 3 eps so far, and I’m loving it. I used to be a fan of CSI, but I reckon this is better, its not only dealing with dead people, but also the actors make it great to watch.
I also started watching a new show called Traveler. Basically its about 2 men who get setup by their friend in a terrorist bombing, and they have to find out wtf is going on, and who their “friend” really was. I’d recommend both Bones and Traveler to anyone tbh.
Update: Thanks to a blog post here, Safari is now working fine (I wrote this from Safari ), but I’ve already found some annoying bugs

Not a good start. I was looking forward to testing it out. You would think that the GUI would be a bit usable, but I can’t access the address bar, bookmarks or any of the menus 
As much as I support the Palestinian cause, some of the things that some Palestinian groups do really fucking piss me off. Like that BBC Reporter they abducted in Gaza. What fucking good is it gonna do to their cause by kidnapping people, especially journalists. If anything, its gonna turn world opinion against them, even more then it already is.
The British Government don’t give the fuck about their demands, and if they don’t get what they ask for, they’ll probably kill him, and what fucking good does that do for them?
If that happens, even more people are gonna lost sympathy for Palestinians. In the end, it’ll be something like this: Support for Palestinian cause: -30000, and anti-Palestinian feelings: +300000.

I made a very simple php based gallery, originally for someone on Neowin, but then I added a few things to it. It was very limited in features, you couldn’t even limit the number of images on a page, so I added a few things to make it a bit more useful.

You might have also seen the random header script on my blog, I decided to write my own after the only ones I could find on the web were way too long and complicated. Thats also downloadable, and a demo of it can be seen here.
I uploaded 2 scenes from Heroes, one on the 24th April, of the Peter and Sylar fight from the Heroes ep 0.07% and a video of the finale ending yesterday. I got an email from Youtube saying they had removed the vids due to a fucking copyright DMCA claim by NBC

The Peter fight was 1 and a half mins long, and the finale scene was 7 mins long. I can’t fucking believe they removed them. I also have some Smallville scenes uploaded, probably the CW is gonna have then removed aswell
Some stats: the Peter/Sylar scene had 2,597 views and the Heroes Finale scene had 314 views.

I took the time out from my revision to watch this since I had it . Its definitely worth watching, although I would have liked to see a longer fight between Spiderman and Venom.
Black Spiderman was interesting, I reckon the black suit looked better then his normal blue and red one. The ending was a bit dodgy though, he was beaten up quite badly, then makes a comeback, with the help of Green Goblin Jr.
Overall, its worth taking the time to watch, but it can’t compare to the Original film. I reckon a fair rating would be 3/5.
I also started buying some DVDs from Play.com, they have a bargain offer there, selling DVDs for £5 delivered. So far I bought quite a few of my favs, even though I have them already in avi format

Joost has decided to start acting retarded on my laptop and has stopped opening. Until I manage to get it fixed, I wont be able to send anymore invites . If you want, you can leave a comment, and when I (hopefully) get it working, I’ll send you one.
A story was posted on Digg about the HD-DVD processing key being posted and the story has now been pulled. It had 15000+ diggs, but I just checked it, and its disappeared.
